Rozlyn Sorrell?s music industry colleagues describe her as a ?consummate artist.? Preview any of her performances and you too, will come away in full agreement. Rozlyn Sorrell is supremely accomplished.

Here is an artist whose passion and unique vocal talent ring true. They are true when using her six-octave range in performing various roles on the musical theatre stage or when presenting her rendition of a traditional gospel selection in church. Ms. Sorrell is a regularly featured soloist with the NC Symphony during their POPS IN THE PARK series, was a featured soloist with the NC SYMPHONY during their Gospel Christmas Spectacular, in Raleigh?s Maymandi Concert Hall and joined them for an thirteen-city tour in 2009. She is also a soloist with the DURHAM SYMPHONY as well. Rozlyn appeared as a featured soloist on the HOUR OF POWER, and principal cast member in both the GLORY OF CHRISTMAS and GLORY OF EASTER, at Robert Schuller?s Crystal Cathedral for several years before locating to North Carolina.

Ms. Sorrell has performed and recorded with world-renowned recording artists Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Al Jarreau, Norman Connors, Cece Winans, and Daryl Coley, to name a few. Ms. Sorrell?s education is as varied as her entertainment career having earned a Bachelor?s degree in Theatre Arts and a Master?s in Special Education. Upon her initial arrival in North Carolina, she used her educational experience to counsel children in the area of mental health through the Easter Seals organization and instruct children with learning differences at a private educational facility. Additionally she assists corporate clients to speak with more confidence, clarity and conviction.
